Vala’s Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard opens Friday, September 13th.
Hours: 9am-9pm Sunday-Thursday; 9am-10pm Friday-Saturday
- We open for our Cider & Sunflower Festival during Labor Day weekend (Auguest 31st, September 1st & 2nd) with a FREE butterfly release. We have sunflower picking and lots of yummy cider (hard cider and sweet cider)
- Open September 7th and 8th
- Then officially open daily on Friday, September 13th until November 2nd. Open 9am to 9pm daily. Located in Gretna, NE
- TWO new rides called Freya’s Egg Spinners location in Freya’s Chicken Yard & a junior coaster called Tim’s Runaway Grain Train located near Jan’s carousel
- Vala’s has pick-your-own apples. Take a hayride to the orchard for a unique fall experience.
- The Barnyard Challenge course is fun for children ages 5 to 12. Test your balance and physical skills and have fun on the zip line
- The Pigtucky Derby Pig Races are back with your favorite racing pigs
- Have a slice Country Fun…and PIE, fresh from the oven. Taste the hand-dipped Caramel apples, fresh Kettle Corn, giant turkey legs, funnel cakes, and sweet buttery fudge.
- Race your friends on the Big Slide Ride
- The Egg Scramble is a fun activity for the whole family.
- Fireworks every Friday night this fall starting at 9pm
- Vala’s fresh sweet cider made from our very own orchard apples
- Try our award winning HARD Ciders at the Cider Silo and Cider House and our new Cider Mill area- you can also buy some bottles at our Exit Barn as well
- Teacher Appreciation Days (anyone who works at a school) September 13th, 14th & 15th
